Service. Fellowship. Friendship.Martin Luther Lutheran Church's women's group got its start when a handful of women met one Saturday to make prayer shawls. Happy with how fun it was to craft together, they decided to next make no-sew fleece blankets for the local social service store. While knotting, one woman exclaimed, "I feel so knotty!" And the name stuck. Since then, the Knotty Ladies have become the unofficial "women's group" of the church, combining their love of crafting with love of service. Every year, the Knotty Ladies host fundraising events and sales for charity and church renovation, enjoy tea parties and craft gatherings, and participate in charity walks. And they are always looking for new people and new ideas! Here's a look at the fun and fundraising the Knotty Ladies host every year . . .
