Meet the Pastors: Christyn & Hans Koschmann

Hans and Christyn met while attending Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, CA, and moved to Lee's Summit from Los Angeles after Hans was called to serve as MLLC's Teaching Pastor in 2010. Christyn served as a Deacon before she was ordained in 2017 to serve as Pastor of Discipleship. 

They have since put their roots down in Missouri and are proud to call Lee's Summit "home." Hans serves on the board of Lee's Summit Cares and is working on his doctorate in Spiritual Direction. Christyn also serves as a chaplain at Saint Luke's East Hospital, is on the Board of Directors for Camp Tomah  Shinga and Lutherans Restoring Creation, and has previously served as Bishop's Associate in the Central States Synod. They have two children.

They are thrilled to serve MLLC together and love the open-minded and friendly glow of its people!
